What is YOUR Interior Vision?

How is one to communicate their interior vision- this can include but not limited to an artistic vision.  I have found as an artist that there is one reoccurring theme or concept that seems to triculate regardless of what work I am doing and that is the wish, need or desire to communicate emotion and passion- to make someone feel- 


Vogue's latest issue has stated this more eloquently:
Cults of Personality "When we look back, that much conformity wasn't so much fun, was it? Lately, fashion has gotten A LOT MORE PERSONAL. The strong individual statement is what it's all about- and that means you are encouraged to play, to EXPERIMENT, to try on personae like so many hats....ALL HAIL THE POWER OF THE INDIVIDUAL. The only way to go it YOUR OWN WAY..." 


Isn't that what art is all about? The power to stand up for one's own vision...Let us STAND UP FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL interior visions as we try to translate them exteriorly. 

PROGRESSION of SELF

WHAT IS IT THAT I WANT?
I came across this and it impacted me- the realization how powerful reality can be and so- to the universe. 

HEY YOU.

yes you. stop being unhappy with yourself. you are perfect. stop wishing you looked like someone else or wishing people like you as much as they liked someone else. stop trying to get attention from those who hurt you. stop hating your body, your face, your personality, your quirks. LOVE THEM. without those things you wouldn't be you. and why would you want to be anyone else? be confident with who you are. smile. it'll draw people in. if anyone hates on you because you are happy with yourself then you stick your middle finger in the air and say SCREW IT. MY HAPPINESS WILL NOT DEPEND ON OTHERS ANYMORE. i'm happy because i love who i am.  i love my flaws. i love my imperfections. they make me me. and me is pretty amazing.

THE HUMAN FACTOR

At the present moment- I am completely obsessed with the power of an individual.  What I mean to say is a person's ability to affect change, redistribute energy, create.  Something so organic about that process. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. 

Time passes.

Life happens.

Distance separates.

Children grow up.

Jobs come and go.

Love waxes and wanes.

Men don't do what they're supposed to do.

Hearts break.

Parents die.

Colleagues forget favors.

Careers end.

BUT....... Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you.

A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach.

When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you....Or come in and carry you out.

Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters, daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers, Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended family: all bless our life!

The world wouldn't be the same without women, and neither would I. When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we would need each other.

Every day, we need each other still.....I love my girls-xoxo
